Andar per sentieri 2024 - Il sentiero del faro di punta Imperatore al tramonto – Urban Trek

Partendo dalla piazza di Panza, percorreremo la litoranea della “Scannella” e Via “Citronia”: strade che costeggiano il mare a strapiombo.
Proseguiremo di fianco al bosco di Campotese, fino a salire vertiginosamente al promontorio di Punta Imperatore con il suo faro. La faticosa salita sarà ricompensata dalla vista panoramica che si aprirà sulla baia di Citara fino alla Chiesa del Soccorso, l’orizzonte del mare con l’isola di Ventotene e parte della terraferma. Accederemo al faro, in esclusiva, dove potremo goderci il tramonto accompagnati dalla “luce” che da decenni avvisa i naviganti della presenza dell’isola. Al rientro percorreremo in discesa le antiche stradine contadine, ritornando nella piazza di Panza.
Durante quest’escursione faremo un aperitivo al tramonto presso il faro di Punta Imperatore.

Starting from Panza square, we will walk along the coastal road of ”Scannella” and ”Citronia,” roads that run along the cliffside by the sea.
We will continue alongside the Campotese forest, until we steeply ascend to the promontory of Punta Imperatore with its lighthouse. The challenging climb will be rewarded with a panoramic view stretching from Citara Bay to the Church of Soccorso, the horizon of the sea with the island of Ventotene, and part of the mainland. We will have exclusive access to the lighthouse, where we can enjoy the sunset accompanied by the „light” that has been guiding sailors to the island for decades. On the way back, we will descend through ancient rural streets, returning to Panza square.
During this trek, we will have a sunset aperitif at the Punta Imperatore Lighthouse.
